The year was 1991 when I was looking to book my vacation. Browsing through the travel brochures, I came across a cruise and thought I’d give it a try. The rest, as they say, is history!

Cruising quickly became my favourite way of travel. In fact, I was so enamoured by cruise travel, I enrolled in travel school, and upon graduation, I entered the cruise industry in 1994.

My career in cruising ranged from selling cruises as a travel advisor to working with Canada’s largest cruise tour operators and travel agencies to promote cruising to their clients. Over the years, I have gained extensive cruise industry knowledge, news, and trends.

In 2015 I created Your Cruise Coach to translate my passion for cruising to you – my readers. My goal is to educate, inspire, and encourage everyone to explore the seven seas, the Great Lakes, and the mighty rivers by ship. I truly believe that there is a cruise for everyone, and that it can change people’s lives like it changed mine.

Since that fateful day in 1991, I have had the pleasure and privilege to sail on nearly 100 cruises aboard 32 ocean, river, and expedition cruise lines. And I look forward to more to come!
